Our history
Established in 2015 and legally incorporated under the Companies Act, 1963, (Act 179, Amended 2019) of the Republic of Ghana; the Association with Reg. No CG2614822018 has demonstrated the will power for global mobilization.
Legal Status
In our second International Executive Council Meeting at our second International Delegates and Scientific Conference in Kigali, this 6th Day of March 2020, do hereby Ordain, Adopt and Give unto ourselves this constitution as the supreme guide to the GLOBAL ASSOCIATION OF CLINICAL OFFICERS AND PHYSICIAN ASSOCIATES and Shall not subject to any rule, regulation, byelaws, policies and activities that contravenes the letter and spirit of this CONSTITUTION.
Pursuant to Section 24 of the Companies Act, 1963, (Act 179) of the Republic of Ghana this Association with registration number CG2614822018 has for the furtherance of its authorized objects; all the powers of a natural person of full capacity except in so far as such powers are expressly excluded by the provisions of the constitution.
Vision
To Provide appropriate leadership framework that seeks to develop highly competent and passionate professionals to practice medicine and contribute towards a sustainable and quality healthcare to humanity; And to promote a unified and dignified profession
Mission
To establish decentralized continental and regional chapters; maintain the highest standard of medical training, promote the highest level of medical practice and professional excellence to humanity especially in underserved communities; to strengthen our influence on national and international policy directives and collective bargaining authority at all levels of professional engagement; and to undertake healthcare projects as well as conduct and publish research in service to humanity

Be a medical graduate of a recognized training institution or equivalent qualification (s) for Clinical Officers or Physician Associates as shall be determined by the Council
Be registered in accordance with the statutory regulations
Maybe registered with a professional body such as national association, union or society
Must be in good standing with the Association
Ordinary Membership
Shall be opened to all Clinical Officers and Physician Associates worldwide who maybe members of national associations, unions, organizations, international health organizations with eligibility and entitlement to exercise their rights to vote and hold office in accordance with provisions of this constitution Shall be opened to all individual Clinical Officers and Physician Associates worldwide who may not be members of any national association, union or society
Associate Membership
Associate membership shall be opened to individual clinicians, other associations, groups, unions that do not qualify for ordinary membership, but shall not be entitled to vote and hold office at the International Quadrennial Congress in accordance with provisions of this constitution
